I WAS studying to be a high school teacher. In 1987 I had a part-time job at Coles and then I got a part-time job as a delivery driver with a company called Silvio's Dial-A-Pizza at Redcliffe in Queensland. I continued that for a fair period of time - through '87 and '88 - and then in early '89, I decided I didn't want to teach.
